My blogs are badly neglected due to my not having internet at home and being very sick, but here's a mini update with a work in progress.

Afternoon Tea

Just a little update to let you know I'm still alive.

New Sketch: Princess Caroline and the Bell Jar

Before being Photoshopped, which I may not have time for in the near future. I thought I'd at least post a snapshot.

Her name really is Princess Caroline Mathilde, so I'll keep it because it's cute. In the original reference she's holding an old toy horse (boring), so I added the fat toad in the bell jar instead. It seemed the thing to do.

A face only a mother could love.

I'm slowly getting back in the groove again. I've had an artists' version of "writer's block,"  which is like having good days and bad days... If I don't "feel" what I'm drawing, it looks like kindergarden art. 

This guy was fun to draw. I'm not sure what made me choose him over some of the prettier things I have in mind, but he caught me on a fairly good day. I'll probably use some version of him again.
