Just posted some pictures to Flickr of the last life casting I helped Tre with. We'll be doing another on Friday, this time a pregnant woman. Very excited!

An update

My internship started on Monday. The people there are really nice, and the character artist I'm partnered with is very very helpful. She's also a big nerd like me, so I'm looking forward to working with her.

I have to come up with some sketches tonight for my first character, and start modeling him/her/it. I have two more illustration projects as well, plus painting Princess Caroline and her toad. One of the other illustration projects is a small web comic to practice on. Job search and internship will of course have to come first, but once I get a job I'll be so much happier with where I am in general. :)

New Sketch: Princess Caroline and the Bell Jar

Before being Photoshopped, which I may not have time for in the near future. I thought I'd at least post a snapshot.

Her name really is Princess Caroline Mathilde, so I'll keep it because it's cute. In the original reference she's holding an old toy horse (boring), so I added the fat toad in the bell jar instead. It seemed the thing to do.
